Your task is to help locals restore their towns by building new properties, repairing old ones and also making the area attractive for new buyers. Buy, upgrade and sell houses, collect rent, and attract new residents to neighborhoods that need your expert eye. It's not only the matter of building a certain number of houses for a limited period of time, you should also think how to put them. For example, placing houses near popular landmarks or creating new points of interest such as hedge mazes can make certain areas more attractive, but having industrial builds too close can cause the reduction of area's value. So, Build-a-lot 3: Passport to Europe is not just time management game, but also a good business simulation at the same time.
In the third installment you meet some of the most fun features of Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year, such as the ability to paint your house different colors and landscape the yard, making various locations more appealing.
There are certainly some new features in new sequel. First, it's the appearing of run-down lots which will lower the curb appeal of your neighborhood - you can buy it, renew, paint and then favorably sell it. Another new feature is the introduction of the new weather conditions like snow and rain. Changes in the weather will influence the speed of some jobs completion - workers build slower during snow, for example. One more innovation is that there are various crises which you can face with from time to time. When something's wrong, (fires, domestic disturbances, etc.) you must deal with it immediately so your income doesn't suffer. Do you see icon flashes over a house? Click on it and send out the appropriate service as soon as you can, as properties under a crisis won't pay rent.

There are two game modes: Campaign mode and Casual mode. You can choose either of them and enjoy 43 levels of Real Estate Tycoon type play. If game temp is toohigh you can always hit the pause button, think a little bit and re-plan your strategy.
Build-a-lot 3: Passport to Europe not only keeps the success of previous titles but also manages to improve upon them as well. Buy backward buildings and repair, repaint and resell for good profits. It's an excellent game and exceptional value for money enjoyment.
