It is automatically updated as you progress. Rotating sparkles indicate close-up hidden object scenes. You’ll get penalty for clicking much. So pace yourself and use the flashlight to get a hint. The hints are rechargeable, so it takes some time before every use. Sometimes you need to use items from your inventory. Open your inventory, click on the item you need to pick it up and then click on the element you wish to use it on or on the other item in the inventory to combine two items. You’ll also have small talks with characters where you have to choose how to respond. Some choices are more rewarding, but you can never get stuck.
